About Us
This site is an international, cross-border effort.
I live in the Southeast England and handle most of the queries. HQ lives in China and looks after the warehouse. Alison lives in the United States and helps with the research and writings.
Although we are small, what we do is important.
To help people appreciate the wonders of tea, we need to share our knowledge.
The informational site is dedicated to helping people appreciate the wonders of tea and other healthy beverages. It is half funded through tea sales, and half funded through advertising revenues.

Customer Service
Our tea shop is tiny. It has been 3 years, and so far we have only identified 7 teas to sell.
I handle less than a handful of sales each day. Some of you write in with your receipt number to help me deal with your query. I really appreciate that. But hey, I do remember most of your orders, so don’t worry.
Here are some information that you may find useful:
Our mission is to bring real tea - directly from the Source - to everyman on the street.
We would like to think we are your bridge to famous tea villages, where century-old tea traditions and pristine natural conditions are well and alive.
Where is the Authentic Source?
We are a member of the American based Specialty Tea Institute. The site co-founder - HQ - who does the sourcing and warehousing, plus post office runs, is a certified tea taster.
Two of our "at the source" teas are also frequent award winners.

What do customers and site visitors say about us? I keep a complete record of customer feedback for every tea I sell - which you can read on individual product pages.
Over the years, I have built up close relationships with my customers. They live all over the world: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Greece, Czech Republic, Croatia, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and even the Middle East.
This page contains some of the more memorable testimonials - both from customers and site visitors.

About Julian - A Brief Auto-Biography
It has been said that everything moves in a cycle. As I reflect on my life, I suddenly realize it is not just marriages that succumb to the 7-year itch.
I grew up in Southeast Asia drinking oolong tea for breakfast. At that time, I was too young to appreciate it...
